We are 5!

The ENT Clinic (www.ent.clinic) commenced operations on 3 June 2015 in a rented unit on the 8th floor of Singapore’ Mt Elizabeth Novena Specialist Centre. We had a shared space with two other specialist clinics. Our staff count was initially just two persons but a third joined us a week later. Dr Jeeve Kanagalingam (www.drjeeve.com) who had been in private practice since 2012 was the sole specialist.

Later that year, in September, we moved to our own unit that had been under renovations. The new space which was slightly larger than the space we had in our rented premises. There was a treatment room adjacent to the doctor’s consultation room.

In October 2017, Dr Christopher Hobbs (www.drchrishobbs.com) joined the partnership from Nobel ENT. We moved yet again to a 990 sq ft clinic space on the 7th floor of Mt Elizabeth Novena Specialist Centre. This space was previously an ENT clinic run by Dr Adrian Saurajen.

The new clinic and larger premises allowed us to serve our growing patient numbers. In December 2018, Dr Annabelle Leong (www.drannabelle.com) joined the partnership. She had been with the Singapore Medical Specialists Centre based at Paragon.

In January 2019, we opened our second clinic in the Annexe Block of Gleneagles Hospital. With the opening our of Gleneagles branch we hired more staff and also equipped both clinics with hearing testing facilities.

The ENT Clinic has grown in strength in 2020. It has been a difficult year for everyone in the private healthcare sector but we have been fortunate enough to keep our doors open and maintain a good level of service for all our patients – both in clinic and virtually by telemedicine.

None of this would have been possible without the support of our loyal and ever-cheerful staff, and fellow doctors who entrust us with the care of their patients. And last but not least, our patients, who motivate us to provide the best ENT care possible.
